To all of the Littrell family…
We all have such wonderful memories of Sonny that we will cherish forever. I wish for all of you that those memories will give you comfort & strength in these difficult times. Sonny was a very kind & giving person and I know he learned that from his family.
His love for the outdoors, fishing & camping are memories I hold very dear. I was privlleged to share many of those memories with all of his dear family & his close friends.
Sonny holds a special place in all of our hearts, mine is one of them. He was such a good daddy to Caroline when she was very young & she absolutely adored him. I remember when she was a baby how he used to say he would like to “exchange her in for a less squeakier model.” None the less, he adored her as well. My thoughts & prayers go out to all of you. My heart is so saddened for it to end this way.
    God bless all of you.

Mr. & Mrs. Littrell, Donna, Wanda and family.

I was so saddened to hear of Charlie’s passing …. a good friend of mine from Columbus, IN who knew Charlie informed me this morning.

I met Charlie when both of us worked for USPBI (later Unisys) in Columbus. We certainly had a lot of laughs during those times.

My heart and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.

    God Bless.

To my dear brother, Sewell and his family…I am so sorry to hear of Sonny’s passing. He was my dear and beloved nephew. He was loved by all. Your loss is heavens gain. His Aunt Evelyn has many happy memories of him as a child and a young man. I loved him dearly. I have prayed for many years that he would overcome his pain and find happiness. Now, I know, his happiness is with our God and that he has the peace he has sought for so many years. I wish my health allowed me to be there, but, I send my love to all of you.

To my Dear Family… I cannot begin to express my sadness at the loss of my sweet cousin. I have so many fond memories of him from our summers at Ma and Pa Littrells…I remember him holding me up by my heels and making me beg to be let down! He would laugh and smile and always let me down safely. I remember him and Greg catching those bees in the flowers by the front porch and chasing us around with them. He was such a sweet, caring man. I know he loved his family and I know how much you loved him. We all did. I pray for your peace with his passing. As much as we all loved him, I find my peace in knowing that he is now with a just and loving God. Finally, my sweet, dear cousin has found the peace he has been searching for over so many painful years. His journey has been a hard one, but, now, he can smile again. Wish I could be there with you, but, you know that I send my love to you all.

What words can anyone say at a time like this that convey the deep loss we all feel at Sonny’s passing. He was a great friend and will be missed, but never forgotten.

I hold dear all the memories I have of great times spent with him when we were younger.

Our condolences go out to all the Littrel family for the loss.

Mr. and Mrs. Littrell, Wanda and Donna, it has been nearly thirty-five years since I last saw you or Sonny although I have thought of all of you quite often over the years. My memories are of a family that so loved their son and brother and I so admired the family bond you shared. I realize Sonny and I were just kids at the time but I really did love him. He will always hold a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

“Keep it simple”. This was Charlies moto, expecially when things in life started to get complicated. That is what he tryed to live his life by, i will always miss the simple ways we shared our lives together fishing, movies by the fireplace, or just sitting outside on a summer evening just talking, laughing, and sharing our feelings. Charlie was my life partner and best friend. We had some rough times between us but we always found our way back to each other. He will always have a part of my heart! We all were touched by Charlie in a special way because he was such a wonderful person. I will always love you my beautiful Charlie!
